After having only one adult male in residence since 8/29 (incidentally,he disappeared for the entire day of the 31st,but was back defending his territory on 9/1 as if he had never been absent) I now have two. Another mature male appeared this morning and the two have been squabbling over the deck area,with it's feeder and flowering plants.
