From Aug 20-28 we saw males just north of us in Wolfeboro where we vacationed. When we got home to Barrington, there were no more males, despite their heavy presence over the previous 6 weeks. Now there are just females and juvies, both at the feeders and nectaring on flowers. But, there are significantly fewer sightings now. During the season I filled the feeders every 3 days; now there's hardly a dent in the food. The season is coming to a close...
