Second report today--early evening, temperature in the low 80's, breezy, and the butterfly bushes are in the shade; there are now five monarchs, male and female, feeding. They are ignoring the milkweed. The butterfly bushes are about 5 feet high, and the monarchs seem to prefer the white flowers over the purple.
