Visited Point Pelee National Park today. Good News....there were no stable flies!! They were terrible a few days ago!
Did see a few monarchs which flitted south along the northshore directly to the TIP & journeyed south out over Lake Erie & out of view. They would start out at a couple feet above the Lake then gain altitude to about 100'. Both east & west sides of the Point were calm so with calm winds from the east, they crossed. Now on their way to Mexico !!
