Out of town Aug 13-29 and came home to find almost all the leaves stripped from 2 mature milkweed plants. No sign of larvae or chrysalides. Several days later saw one small carterpillar on a small plant and today saw two caterpillars almost 2" long eating mature leaves. Saw an adult monarch flying in the same area 9/2.
