I checked the small Common Milkweed plants that have come up again in the field across the road from me after it was mowed around August 10. There has been a lot of Monarch Butterfly activity here since late July. I found probably 10-15 caterpillars and 9 eggs from what I checked. There are probably more over there since I can't check all the plants. I took in the eggs and caterpillars I could find to raise them.
