Things are incredibly quiet! After listening to the humm of hummingbird wings outside the office since May, we're suddenly hardly hearing them at all today. Only one visitor has been coming and going regularly -- compared to 6 or more during the past weeks. We've been measuring nectar consumption at the feeders all summer. I know we'll see a dramatic drop today when we summarize the data.
