Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/06/2016

Number: 1000

Over 1000+ caterpillars and chrysalis so far. Still have a couple more milkweed patches that haven't been devoured (75 mature milkweed plants on property). Monarchs are still laying eggs! So far the Tropical Milkweed is the hands down favorite. I also have common and swamp. This is a picture of just one edge of my green house. There are caterpillars and chrysalis hanging from every edge and all the way around the roofline and sky lights. I can honestly say if you plant it they WILL come! They did it all on their own outside!:) They love to chrysalis on the outside of the greenhouse. The milkweed patch is right by it. Lots of wood and overhangs. So proud of them!
