This morning at 9:00, temps in the 80's, sunny, windy (10-15mph)--I saw six monarchs with a lot of energy moving from flower to flower in my backyard. A couple hours later there were four, then three until around 7pm there was one lone male feeding. I also saw monarchs (maybe the same ones) riding the wind that was being channeled down the street by my house, moving south. I cannnot recall seeing this many monarchs in one day before.
