One adult Monarch flew past me going S-W high above the Grand River at the Fairway Road North bridge in Kitchener, Ontario, 43.445594, -80.394690 on September 6, 2016.
Another was perched in a tree near a stormwater management pond nearby in Cambridge, Ontario, 43.409690, -80.369799 also September 6, 2016.
(Also saw at least 1 at Greenway Blooming Centre, Woolwich Township 43.498273, -80.380050 on September 3 but they raise butterflies there so it didn't seem to count although this one flew in and out of the nursery building.)
