These monarch were older, wings faded and weary from their migration as apposed to the new vivid color of the Monarchs that I have released locally. Since July the 27th Linda and I have released 144 Monarch butterflies,have 55 protected chrysalis and 12 protected cats. in various stages. Those Monarchs that have migrated down, are busy laying eggs, so I expect to have another round of cats. . soon.
