Days Cove area of Gunpowder Falls State Park is a closed area to visitors. This was an open house event for birding. The number of migrating Monarchs were outstanding.

A number of them were seen nectaring as well.

While a large area, we walked about 1 mile on the trails near the waterways. Monarchs were seen throughout, including on the drive out.
