In Spring 2016, we planted a butterfly garden on a suburban traffic island owned by our town, the Town of Niskayuna. Our efforts are documented in the Nisky Butterfly Blog (http://nisky-butterfly.blogspot.com/). We were delighted to find a healthy Monarch Butterfly caterpillar last week. It is like getting a stamp of approval. We have a pollinator-friendly habitat.
