Monarch Waystation #271 report: about 10 to 10:30 am as tidied up the front yard, found a dozen larvae scattered on common and tropical milkweeds. Most were 2nd and 3rd instars, one a 4th instar. One of the 3rd instars was blackening about a third of the way back from the head, poor thing. Hope the rest do well. For the migrant generation, I let the yard rear them until 5th instar, then I'll take them in. Vaya con Dios!
