This morning on 9/11 I was pensive about the World Trade Center attacks but my spirits were lifted when I discovered 11 adult monarch butterflies had emerged. I tagged and released 6 males and 5 females in memory of those who perished 15 years ago. Nature is a powerful and calming energy. It was an emotional experience.
