My friend and I were coming back from Sturgeon Bay at about 1230 this afternoon. From Sturgeon Bay to Algoma, we spotted 9 monarchs in a south-southwesterly flight. From Algoma to about 5 miles from Mishicot, we didn't see any. We saw the other 4 of the 13 within 5 miles of Mishicot. Those monarchs were dominantly flying south.
