One Ruby throat female and one juvenile at feeder. Resident male has not been seen for several days now so he is on migration.

My hummingbird numbers in this part of N. VA (based on sightings and nectar consumption were down significantly this year--I have 4 feeders up now but have been only filling them 1/4 full for sometime because of low consumption/tossing out nectar when cleaning 2x/wk). We had a long cool wet spring followed by a very hot dry summer.
