I am still seeing several hummingbirds each day. I'm certain one of them is a very small female who has been here all summer. She flies into and back from the feeder from the same perch each day and has particular mannerisms. She does appear to be nectaring heavily, and is fiercely defending her territory. Other sightings may be migrants. I don't think we've hit the peak of activity yet, but we could be close.
