i have been outside all day today and haven't seen one monarch. i saw a few two days ago and one yesterday. it has been a bad year for monarchs here, I've seen the fewest I've seen in the last 3 years I've lived here. i have a lot of bees this year and saw a lot of black swallowtail and yellow swallowtail butterflies, including their larvae. i didn't find any monarch larvae this year which is incredibly disappointing.
