i have had 2 hummingbirds at ny feeders for well over a wk now...one staying perched on my ladder to watch over the feeder and the other desperately trying to get to the feeder. w/o the one one guard shewing him away. today is the first day I havent seen the perched one all day (to be honest I was sad to see him leave, he was growing on me) and only got a glimpse of the second at the feeder for just a cpl seconds. i believe they are ready or have already flown south. :(
