We had two "hitchhiker" instar 5 caterpillars on some milkweed plants we brought back from northern NY. They ate voraciously for one week before they pupated, one day apart. The first one emerged yesterday while I was at a meeting but I was able to watch and record this, the second one, as it emerged this morning. How exciting!
