Most of the Hummer activity is around Amistad (salvia)- front yard & also heavily feeding from what we have now identified as the Abelia Shrub, 4-5 ft. tall with white blooms. I do not know the name of this plant as it came with the house. But, my husband said "they are all over it". I was going to have it taken down & replaced with a Hummingbird Shrub. No need now. Only yr. any hummer's have visited it. Their taste of plants here in Tx seems to change from season to season & yr. to yr. And the Black-Chinned & Ruby-Throated Hummer's have different plants that they favor. Between 6:30pm-8pm the Adult Male R.T once again came to feed at the feeder & he made frequent visits along with the female & immature R.T. Male fighting over the Black & Blue Salvia. They are also visiting the Cigar plant again (Cuphea David x Verity).
