Watched many fluttering adult Monarchs near sunset tonight. I observed them one by one over about 5 minutes from my 2nd story sunroom - while birdwatching. They were not nectaring They were simply fluttering about, not too near the ground, but I can't say exactly how high other than above the height of the sunroom. I'm not familiar with butterfly roosting habits, but, it didn't look like they were settling down for the night.
