Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 09/14/2016

Number: 11

I checked the remaining small Common Milkweed plants in the field across the road from me today. It was mowed about a month ago and the milkweed is growing back again. It seemed to be a coincidental perfect time for Monarchs around to lay eggs aon them as they grew. I counted a total of 11 caterpillars from very tiny to large.
