Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/12/2016

Number: 1

1. 3 caterpillars on common milkweed that was beginning to dry up and all other milkweeds in the area had already or were in the process of, drying up. Two of the cats were on ONE LEAF, one cat on adjacent leaf. I typically do not see two, let alone THREE cats on ONE plant here.

2. 2 caterpillars on common milkweed 20 feet away from first

3. 1 caterpillar on common milkweed 10 feet further away

I moved the first three cats (in #1 above) to other green and thriving milkweeds a couple of hundred feet away that had no other cats on them.

Left all other cats in place.
