Female monarch nectaring on butterfly bushes from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm.Cold front came through a few days ago. Temperatures in the low 70's, sunny and dry. We have been in an extreme drought all summer. Butterfly garden has been a refuge for many species of butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators.
Monarchs have been sporadic and in very low numbers unfortunately.
