My Mother resides at the Centre Crest nursing facility. There is a garden (roughly 70’ by 50’) for the residents that is shielded on three sides (W, N, & E) by the facility. Today we spotted 2 Monarch butterflies that were feeding on orange tithonia flowers in the garden under mostly sunny skies around 10:00 AM with an 81ºF breeze coming from the SW at 6 mph. One of the butterflies appears in the attached photo.
