My son and I noted 9 monarch adults roosting near the lighthouse. We also found eight 5th instars and 3 4th instars. Six of the 5ths and one 4th were on the butterflyweed, the rest were on common milkweed. It rained most of the night last night, and all day today until about 5pm. Temps mid 70s, lake was fairly calm and ferry crossing was easy.
