A man got on the bus near 21st and Fairmount (where the Eastern State Penitentiary is surrounded by a strip of flowering plants and some milkweed). My friend noticed a monarch riding on the back of the man's jacket collar. Before the man leaned back in his seat, my friend alerted him. They removed the monarch and set him/her free at the next bus stop.
