at 1:17 PM Central Standard Time. It was a huge, adult American Bald Eagle. It must have been a female. It's wingspan was bigger than an adult male Brown Pelican or Great Blue Heron. From what I've read, the eagles in this part of the U.S. don't get that large. It must have been a migrating bird. I've seen bald eagles many times in this area and this bird was unusually large for this area.
