There has been a monarch here every day since Sept. 11. Today a hummingbird tried in vain to move this monarch off the Mexican sunflowers, but the monarch was not intimidated. When the monarch flew to a different flower, the hummingbird perched on the previous flower stalk as if claiming it. There is plenty to go around!
