These two females had been sparing around this feeder for weeks, even though there were two other identical feeders within 100ft of this... I took the picture in the AM, in the PM they were not to be seen or heard. I've been keeping records on hummingbirds for the last five years. To date, they have left on the same day of the year +/-1; rather amazing I think. There was no cold snap this year to chase them off as in previous years, and the leaves (for the most part) are still on the trees.
