5 monarchs were working over the Tithonias. One was male but I couldn't see the others well enough to tell. An unusual monarch was nectaring. I couldn't tell if the wings were thin and worn or just a very pale color. The monarchs are on those Tithonias all day and nectaring into the evening. This reminds me of years past when the garden was full of monarchs.
