It's actually impossible to count hummingbirds, but we had sightings all day, starting in the very early morning and continuing until after sunset, so I'm guessing ten, because we would see some at the feeders on one side of the house, and there would be a hummingbird battle on the other side that seemed to be different birds. Hummingbird chases swirled around us, even passing between people who were watching the monarch butterflies by our sidewalk.
