I saw 2 pretty green-throated hummingbirds around 1 p.m. in my garden. They both in turn stopped in front of me in their flight, checking me out. They were getting nectar from the hyacinth bean plant and the red cardinal vine. For the last week, they were the first colorful hummingbirds. All others have been grey.
