We sighted AT LEAST 20 females and fledglings during the day. No males. We returned to our farm last night after an extended vacation. The birds were nectaring in large numbers from our multiple gardens of turk's cap. For most of the day, they ignored the feeders we put out this morning. A few came to the feeders in late afternoon.
