We have a 4-5 station feeding area in our backyard. I make 4-5 quarts of sugar water daily (which is consumed) by mostly my residents. We have about a 60/40 ratio of Anna's to Rufus. I also spotted a smaller, compact fellow with his mate, but haven't identified the species yet. We have some amazing peak times (like a few weeks ago), when there are over 80 birds that come to "top off" before going in for the night. That's how I can best estimate what's in the neighborhood at the time. It is a wonderful pastime!
