We are finding much smaller numbers of migrating monarchs on the north shore of Lake Ontario, east of Toronto so far this year. Last year at this time we had tagged 813, this year, 238. On 18 Sept 2015 we tagged 235. Today we tagged 15.

Last year we tagged 1101. The projected total this year = 320.
