Time at the feeders is from 1 to 2 minutes if they are not disturbed. They seem to work in pairs. 2 hummingbirds will tolerate each other & feed together. They will joust in slow playful motion. If another shows up nearby, they become aggressive & chase them away. Some young males are so aggressive they chase sparrows & finches away. Some even hassle blue jays. This past week, they have fed heavily on million bells. salvia & geraniums.
