Monarch caterpillars ready to pupate are all over my yard on milkweed for the past month. I have brought them indoors to raise them and so far one has been released with about 10 in chrysalis form and another 10 almost ready to pupate. There are still more out there I just don't have the room. I find overcrowding causes more issues as many die as they pupate or the chrysalises turn black.
