Went to the orchard to get an apple. Surprised by the number of Monarchs that found that out-of-the-wind spot. A dozen or more were there, just doing their thing, feeding. Red clover seems to be the favorite, But they also seem partial to yellow. They feed upon Yarrow, what few dandy lions there are, and they keep checking out the black-eyed Susans.

They taste with their feet. hmn. ok..... Anything weird about how they perceive color?
