They land only on coneflowers, sedum & occasionally on tree leaves. Picture attached is of one that I thought was caught on a wasp trap. I cupped my hands & gently removed it, It immediately returned & continued to drink for a long time. Later, a much smaller one stayed on another trap for a very long time.
