I had seen either a single or a few individually on walks in and around the area (Bigelow Nature Trail, Canning) for the week or two before this. On this day I saw many more next to a field of corn, which used to be full of wild flowers. The edge still had some good habitat. The corn is, of course, GMO and had been planted where milkweed had proliferated.
