Two weeks ago we had over 50 hummingbirds at our feeders and had to add more feeders to the porch. Today we have only about a dozen and they are mostly females and juveniles with a few males but they are plumping up and will soon be flying south as well. We have never had this many hummingbirds as this year and we have been feeding them since 2011. We are so enjoying watching them and hate to see them go!
