Saw another monarch take its first flight today in the orchard. A little wobbly, but it made it a couple hundred yards before it rested. Moving south! I Know where one more chrysalis is hanging (starting to see wing veins) but also have lost track of 5 caterpillars in the last 4 day so they must be getting ready for the journey south. Hope the weather holds for them.
