I was outside at the community garden when it flew by me. About twenty minutes later after I left the garden the Monarch began to fly around close to me. I had my camera to take pictures. I spoke to the butterfly, asking if it would let me take pictures. The Monarch fluttered around in a circle. I stood still. There was no traffic or anyone else there. Sure enough it came back to me and landed on the ground and wasn't afraid. I talked to it while we were together. I believe nature listens and understands. The full wingspan photo was a nice one. I thought you would like to see it.
