I "rescued" a bunch of caterpillars from milkweed that was in a garden area of a building complex. They have ripped the milkweed out in the past, and they did it again within a week after I collected the caterpillars. I collected them on 8/31 and between the 19th and 23rd of September 14 have hatched and flown! Today, 2 more will emerge. They truly looked happy to flutter free in the warm breeze!
