We have seen one bird today. I'm not an expert but I think it's female. I couldn't see a red patch at its throat but the website I looked at suggested a male might not have a red patch so not exactly sure. It has been hanging around all day. It will drink from the feeder for a bit and then go sit in a nearby spruce tree for a while. We decided to put up the feeder two days ago because co-workers had see quite a few birds in Downs about 6 miles south. This is the first day i've had a chance to watch for them.
