Saw two larva on my milkweed this morning. This is the second year I have seen larva in the fall--when I was told monarchs shouldn't be breeding, just passing through on their way to Mexico.
Also, should I try keeping the lizards away from them? I noticed some geckos hiding in the petals if my zinnias.
