I was birding near some sod fields south of Bellevue, NE (Sarpy County) and there was a steady stream of Monarchs flying south. They had a strong north wind and occasionally were moving south with their bodies at a side angle to keep from being tossed by the winds. This was over approximately a 30 minute period. To add to this were the additional 5 in my backyard nectaring on butterfly bush and my hummingbird feeder.
